Safety is our number one concern

Safety is a primary goal of Applied Ballistics Systems.  We will provide a safe, enjoyable environment for all our customers.

All Firearms entering the building must be in a case or in a holster.  There are no exceptions to this policy.

A range orientation is mandatory for all first-time visitors.   The
orientation consists of a 10 minute video presentation about the range and the associated rules and regulations.

All shooters must sign a log each time they shoot, which contains a liability waiver and a statement that they have read and agree to abide by the Range Rules.

We have created a PDF file which details our General, Safety, and Range Protection rules.  Please take a few moments to review them by clicking here.

However if you remember the “Four Rules” of gun safety as defined by Col. Jeff Cooper you will have a excellent start on the rules of the range.

  1. 1.  All guns are always loaded.

  2. 2.  Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.

  3. 3.  Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on the target.

  4. 4.  Be sure of your target and what is beyond it.
